The Farmluxe Method: Home Garden Design Workshop + Farm To Table Dinner $699 | Max 30 people | 2pm – 9pm

Join us for a Garden Design workshop and farm-to-table dinner. Misha will cover The Farmluxe Method, which is the process of designing a biodiverse organic home garden – not only for food and flower production – but also as an aesthetically pleasing, immersive experience for healing ourselves and the earth, for gathering with friends, and for nourishing our bodies.  It involves growing in sync with our unique natural environments while designing for all five senses; considering sound, fragrance, focal points, feel, and of course, taste. The Farmluxe Method calls for raised planting beds or containers, a central gathering space, seating areas, and densely planted annual and perennial flowers, veggies, herbs, and native plants. It considers the native ecosystem and aims to give back more than we take. The purpose of the Farmluxe Method workshop is to share a new perspective in gardening that will help you design your own “Farmluxe-style” home garden for the senses. We will also be enjoying a sunset farm-to-table dinner in the garden and connecting with friends who have similar gardening goals. Let’s rejuvenate our spaces, soils, and souls! Please scroll down for information on how to get here as well as information on finding local accommodations.

Our New Location

Our 20 acre farm is located at the top of a mountain on beautiful San Juan Island in Washington State. The property overlooks the ocean, mountains, and surrounding islands. San Juan Island is the second largest and most populated of the San Juan Islands chain. It is known for its sparkling coastlines, world class kayaking, boating, hiking, and whale watching. The main town on San Juan Island is called Friday Harbor, which is a bustling little port town full of restaurants, shops, and boats. San Juan Island showcases all different types of terrain from open rolling pastures and farmland, to mountains, lakes, and rocky beaches. If you like nature, there is so much to do here and some of my favorite things to do are listed below.

How To Get Here

There are multiple ways to get to Friday Harbor / San Juan Island, but they MUST be booked in advance because things fill up quickly. Our Nearest Airports (within driving distance to San Juan Island) are: SEA TAC Seattle Tacoma International Airport, BLI Bellingham, PAE Everett Paine Field, and YVR Vancouver International Airport. • Balance is due in full at the time of booking.
  • Due to the limited amount of space available for each retreat/workshop, we do not give refunds for cancellations. However, if you need to cancel and we have openings for other workshops we may be able to move your booking to a different date if requested at least 14 days prior to cancellation.
