FAQ

Is your farm open for tours / Can I visit your farm?

Our farm is not set up for tours and we are not open to the public. However, we do hold workshops from time to time that include farm tours within the event. You can see more here or subscribe at the bottom of this page to be notified of future events.

Which garden zone are you in?

We are in zone 8B.

Do you sell seeds, bulbs, or tubers?

We do not sell anything here. Everything we grow is donated.

I want to start a garden but don’t know where to start. Any advice?

I get this question a lot and I wish the answer were short and easy. There is a lot of information to learn and I do have a lot of advice but cannot cover it all in a short paragraph here. I cover this question extensively in my new book, Blooms & Dreams, as well as in my garden show Farm to Cable. But if I can give one short quick piece of advice it would just get started with whatever you have (maybe some potted plants) and learn as you go. You can grow from there, pun intended.

How big is your farm?

Our farm is 12 acres.

What do you grow?

We grow all sorts of vegetables as well as pears, apples, plums, figs, peaches and hazelnuts. We also grow just about every flower that will grow in this zone, 8B. The ones I focus on the most and grow the most of are dahlias, tulips, daffodils, peonies, anemones, ranunculus, snapdragons, alliums, irises, lupine, and poppies.

Where do you sell your flowers / Can I purchase your flowers?

We do not sell our flowers, however you can attend one of our workshops and make your own floral arrangement to take home with you.

Where can I buy your book?

Please see this page for info on where to purchase Blooms & Dreams.

How do I find your show?

My gardening show for beginners, Farm to Cable, is at Farmluxe.tv
